After the washing up, Mrs.Verma takes Mrs.Ganapati to show the apartment

Mrs.Ganapati I must say that you have managed to settle in the Lease Apartments very quickly.

Mrs.Verma We are used to state to state moving the house so often that I am used to packing up and opening up fast. I have a sort of a system worked out for moving a house.

Mrs.Ganapati You are right. One has to plan out home setting.What has to be done first and what to next, instead of rushing around doing everything .Decorating rooms and moving heavy furniture at the same time. Furniture damage can not be prevented.

Mrs.Verma This is our drawing room. I have had the loose covers for the drawing room furniture.

Mrs.Ganapati You have very attractive blinds and curtains. they set off the loose covers of sofa covers very effectively.

Mrs.Verma We have used  half the space of this room , as a modern dining room.

Mrs.Ganapati You have done well to put up a light folding partition in between.

Mrs.Verma We did that, so as to enable the children to eat fresh prepared meals , while my husband and I areentertaining visitors in the drawing room

Mrs.Ganapati What about this study room?

Mrs.Verma This study room is always in shambles. The children study here as well. It is in a great mess in the morning when they leave for school. Books strewn around the room and clothes littered every where.

Mrs.Ganapati Where do you plan to fix the T.V set?

Mrs.Verma It will have to be kept in the drawing room. It is a large room in the house and also it will not distract the children when they are studying . If we put it in  children's bedroom, the children will be sitting on bedroom beds the whole evening

Mrs.Ganapati I do like spotlessly clean kitchen. What gleaming utensils!Which kitchen cleaner do you use?

Mrs.Verma Thank-you for making such complementary remarks. I am flattered. I am pleased about the apartment, because it is well ventilated. It enables the smells of cooking to it escape outside, instead of filling the whole house with smells of masalas being fried.

Mrs.Ganapati You have a lovely home and you do work hard to keep it clean and beautiful. I must run along now. Good-bye.

Mrs.Ganapati What is in that sideboard furniture?

Mrs.Verma I store the glass crockery and cutlery sets in the sideboard. It is easier to take out glass crockery and cutlery sets , when we have to set table for the lunch and dinner, rather than having to bring it all the way from the kitchen.

Mrs.Ganapati This must be your master bedrooms furniture..Yes this is master bedroom with new  furniture,

Mrs.Verma It is also used as a dressing room. It is great convenience to have an attached dressing room
